Welcome Home

Woooowwww... this was a really long weekend. I traveled up to Massena (I think that's how it's spelled...) with Dad, Matthew, Isaac, and Shannon on Thursday morning. Ten hour drive. Ugh! We were about 20 minutes from Quebec if that helps you any. We went up to visit my grandparents who are doing fine and Dad went to his 30 year high school reunion. He hooked up with his old girlfriend and they apparently had fun. Okay, picture your 30th high school reunion. Where is it? In some dining hall somewhere? No, his was in a BAR. Says a lot about his class, doesn't it? *giggles* Being up there is so boring, though. The only thing it seems like we do is EAT and as most of you know, I don't eat in large portions. Yeah, I wasn't feeling too well the entire time. There is a really awesome playground a few blocks away, so I spent a lot of my time there. It's a wooden castle, much like the one in Cranberry. But yes... I'm so tired... we drove back today, which wasn't as nice as the ride up there. I slept the entire time then, but this time, I could barely fall asleep. It was horrible. It's also Dad's birthday today which must have been horrible for him. Mom is at a meeting right now, so we will celebrate when she gets home. Harry Potter came out on Saturday and I was in New York. Damn. The book deflated!!! I'm not kidding! From the beginning those books have been getting bigger and bigger, the last one being nearly 900 pages! But this one is only 652! *gasp* Yeah, I read an entire book while I was up there and started a new one. The finished one I think I'll like better when I am older. I've been finding a lot of those lately, which is why I'm so happy about the Harry Potter book. J.K. Rowling knows mostly kids are reading it so it can't be too adult. What else was I going to talk about... oh! YAY!!! BECKY AND MARITA ARE SISTERS AGAIN!!! *cries in happiness* You have NO idea how long I have been waiting for this... *wipes tear* As I just told Marita, I had been thinking of them in the van on the way home and how I was wondering when they would get back together. I was planning in my own little head stealing Becky's car (Christartemustine) with Becky in it, not caring that I can't drive that car for multiple reasons, and stealing Marita. I would then force them into the front seats and pretend they were sisters again, just to help my sanity. Yes, I'm desperate, I know. But you would be too if you cared about them as much as I do. Different subject before I start crying again. Ms. Remalely's not going to be too happy with me. I'm skipping PIMBA. That's right, nationals. I'm not going. Matthew and Stephanie's wedding got moved to Oct. 29. PIMBA nationals. I AM NOT SKIPPING MY BROTHER'S WEDDING FOR A DAMN MARCHING BAND COMPETITION!! EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST ONE!! Okay, I'm done. Call me if you want to do anything later this week... let me rest up.
